Reviewing

Process

• Original, high-quality papers, that are not currently under review at another conference or a journal, will be considered.
• Papers that have already been published with the same contents or that have been simultaneously submitted to another conference or a journal will be rejected.
• Submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind review process.
• Papers will be selected based on technical merit, relevance, and a clear exposition in English.

Deadlines

• Abstract submission deadline at GECON 2016 Submission Web Site at EasyChair is June 10^th, 2016.
• Paper submission deadline at GECON 2016 Submission Web Site at EasyChair is  June 8^th, 2016  June 17^th , 2016.
  
• Notification of paper acceptance is on  July 7^st, 2016.
• The camera-ready, revised paper has to be uploaded to EasyChair  by 
• July 18 ^th, 2016.
• GECON 2016 will be held on September 20-22^nd, 2016 in Athens, Greece.

Paper

Formatting

• Submitted papers cannot exceed 14 pages in Springer LNCS format, including references and appendices. The papers should be submitted in pdf format. 
• Final, camera-ready, revised paper have to be submitted in pdf format as well as either in LaTex or in MSWord format. The templates are available at the Springer Web site on Information for LNCS Authors
• The copyright form can be found at Springer LNCS .

Publications

• Proceedings will be published at Springer LNCS . 
• As conducted for the previous conferences (GECON 2010-2016), an extended versions of up to --- accepted top GECON 2017 papers, which are closely related to computer science, will be published in a special issue of the Journal of Future Generation Computer Systems - The International Journal of Grid Computing and eScience of Elsevier . 
• We will also have a special issue in Electronic Markets Journal   of Springer with up to 5 accepted top GECON 2016 papers that mainly addressed the business aspects.
